Alphabet People
The Alphabet People series is a playful experiment in Graphic Expressionism, where letters transform into characters with their own quirks, moods, and little stories. Each of the 26 illustrations began as a single letterform, then evolved into a surreal, personality-driven figure — part typography, part caricature, part puzzle.
I approached the series like world-building, letting shapes, gestures, and color interactions guide each design. Every character hints at a narrative, inviting the viewer to pause and discover hidden expressions and connections between them.
Originally created as a month-long video series for my YouTube channel, the project became a deep dive into storytelling through form — balancing bold linework, vibrant color blocking, and a touch of absurd humor to bring the entire alphabet to life.
